Playing online poker is an up and down affair. There are sometimes when you are a dominating force and others when you are nothing more than a lower level player who is struggling to put together a winning hand.

But what are you to do when you are in a major funk? This is when you are doing everything you can to win, but seem to have no luck hand after hand. No matter what type of strategy you use or how hard you try, losing is the only thing in your cards.

There is no sure fire way to beat an online poker funk, but there are some things that you can do to help your situation.

1. Even though you will be tempted to make major changes, to break an online poker funk you should stick with what you know best. In other words, a strategy change may seem like a great idea but before you do this make sure that you consider the move that you are making.

2. When you are in a funk, a few days away from the game may be all that you need. To an online poker player this may seem like the biggest sin of them all, but time away from the game can do wonders for a losing streak.

3. Never lose your confidence! When you stop believing in yourself and your skills your mind will start playing games with you. In turn, you will have to deal with trying to keep your mind in check while also trying to figure out how to win.

Overall, breaking an online poker funk is different for everybody. The three tips above may help you to get back on a winning streak. You might as well try them if everything else seems to be failing you!
